[ heeere's futaba. sometime after invest she's finally wandered back to the dorm with her smoothie and seems to be lost in thought upside down on the couch. hm. ]
[ haha, here we go again. futaba thought she was all cried out from yesterday but no!! now it's even worse!!!!! she'll just be here in the dorms trying not to make a full scale spectacle but whoo boy she sure is failing rn ]
[ lux has been struggling to hold it together but - seeing someone who can't makes it easier. it's always more manageable to be what someone else needs. she brings futaba a glass of water and sets that nearby, because she doesn't want her getting dehydrated from crying too much. ]

[ sometimes all you need is company while your body hits betray. but futaba will happily throw herself at lux while getting tears and snot everywhere ]
[ luckily lux is wearing a school uniform instead of armor, so that hug is actually soft. she wraps her arms around futaba after a moment of hesitation, and slowly pets her hair. ]

[ ironically enough, guess who had the same idea! she's got pockets filled with snacks and drinks and what looks like a whole box of tissues. but at the question, she just sniffs loudly and holds it out because same hat? same hat. ]
